Additionally, Kindlewood residents can now easily find all the approved contractors in the resident app and issue all quote and job requests from the app, which will also trigger access to the estate.<\/p>\n
There are current very limited means for contractors and suppliers (traders) to advertise to promote their businesses to residents of an estate. The only current platform where traders can typically advertise, is the quarterly estate residents newsletter, which is usually quite costly and proven not to be very effective.<\/p>\n
A painting contractor recently secured a significant painting contract from a Kindlewood resident as the nominal charge of R145 per month, also includes a listing in the resident app. The residents are happy in that they can easily find and rate all the contractors and suppliers that have approval to work in the estate and naturally the contractors are also happy, as the residents can easily find them and place whatever quote requests may be required and when they need to grant access to the contractor, they can simply convert the quote request to a job, request, which then triggers access.<\/p>\n
This as opposed to the way manual method many estates still employ, which is to manually complete a form, scan it and email it or to make a call to the security admin.<\/p>\n
